The Egan line so far...

Got another certificate in my search for our family tree...
My Great Grandfather's birth certificate, which shows the name of my Great-great-grandparents.

So far we are from low skilled workers in Manchester during the Cotton boom.

Eventually it will go back to Ireland and wondering if the "Thomas Egan" on this census return is the same as "John Thomas Egan"? Right area and children but incorrect wife name, which is not unusual for this period. If so, the census says he was born in Ireland and he could be the guy that first came to the UK.
