River God Tyne

I'm cheating a bit today, because I got such lovely photo's yesterday when the sky was such a wonderful blue and didn't want to post another indoor shot when I had this one. Look at that sky....I adore the light, I wish my life away hurrying the spring and summer months.

This is the second sculpturesby David Wynne that you can find at Newcastle Civic Centre. This is magnificent when it is working, but it is rarely on in the winter, I am guessing because in the wind the water will soak people walking past.
