Stoke City U21 v Liverpool U21

Myself, Jim and another Jim took our boys up to the Brittania Stadium tonight to watch the above match. It was really cold but I think it was just about worth it for the lads to see a decent game of football.

I like U21/reserves games because there's hardly anyone there and you get a better idea about what being a footballer is all about without the frills, TV cameras and tens of thousands of loud fans.

You can hear what the coaches are telling the players and what the players are saying to each other which is also interesting.

All in all a good evening except for losing all the feeling in my toes!
