LEMONS!I

Lemonaid, Lemon Squares, Lemon Meringue Pie, Chicken with Lemon, Salad Dressing with Lemon, Lemon Cake…I see the future and it is lemony.

The lemon tree next to our front door, just behind the Bird of Paradise plants, is groaning with lemons, some of them on such thin branches that the fruit is resting on the ground. I harvested a whole bowl full of them this afternoon and barely made a dent. Even if we don't manage to use them all, they will look beautiful in a bowl. on the kitchen counter even if the rains return, as predicted, next week.
