Halloween Dog Parade

it's billed as a dog parade and it started about 10 years ago as a very small affair. as you can see, it's become much more than a parade of costumed dogs. It's also now much larger... they close off a couple streets around a block, rent seating to raise funds for animal shelters... and hundreds, really, hundreds of people-and-dog "teams" participate.

This was one I thought most over the top. You can hardly even see the dog! Of course it's all a lot of fun. The coolest part is how well behaved all the dogs are! I think dogs like crowds.
