Ducking and diving

Well, swimming and eating but im sure its all the same to ducks. Ducks are cool so I post pictures of them, this family unit was enjoying a casual Wednesday evening on the lake. I think this is a different group to the ones pictured before but they are behaving in the same way, a parent keeping watch while the children do their thing. Nobody ever told me that ducks behave like this, it's quite fascinating, to me anyway, that their family structure is similar to humans and probably a lot more reliable and better than human family structure. I wonder how long it will be until the children fly the coup.
