Island Bay...Wellington

We have had a good day here in Wellington ...had breakfast at the Maranui Surf Club Cafe, a great place over looking the sea. We got sandblasted going from the car to the door of the cafe as Wellington was living up to its Windy Wellington name today!

Had a bit of a browse down town in the city shops, then went into Te Papa... The Museum of New Zealand. You really need days to cover everything in there....it is a wonderful place.

We are staying in the suburb of Island Bay, I took this shot late afternoon ....it's been a nice warm day for Wgtn , but windy!

I am now relaxing at my sister-in-laws while Dave has taken the others out to the Dr Who concert....
