Practice, Practice, Practice

Today was a day off for the AOG competitors in Pacific Northwest Stadium. Some were seen enjoying the snack bar and others were just relaxing and sightseeing. Over in the practice area a few squirrels were trying out some very unusual and if I may say so, quite spectacular moves. Apparently they’ve been put on notice that they need to do something to redeem themselves for some rumored poor behavior at another venue. Actually, I think the word “scandal” was used so whatever they’re planning to do needs to be pretty amazing for them to regain their credibility.

Meanwhile, after Gloria Gull’s spectacular gold medal swoop, some of her teammates were seen practicing their synchronized routines in hopes of adding to the team’s medal count when the competition resumes. Gloria was persuaded to once again tell the story of how she won her gold medal, with a demonstration. It was, of course, as impressive the second time as it was the first. Or was it the third or fourth, or fifth time Gloria has recounted, and demonstrated, the event………I’ve lost track.
