Rememberance
Today was a mixed bag, we went down to the site of the Medway Bridge, which once
stood over the Avon River ,others gathered there for a Rememberance service of the 3rd year anniversary of the killer Quake.. It was good to see children of the Banks Ave School there and at the end of the service a lone Piper played 'Amazing Grace' as we threw our flowers into the Avon.
As we walked back to our home passing the road cones with flowers sticking out of them , crossing unkempt empty sections where neighbours homes have been demolished, we see our house.........still waiting to be fixed......3 years on. Patience is a virtue they say...........I dont think I've got any virtures!!!
