Shark Attack!

We had a fun day today at Ruataniwha watching Power boat racing! the picture is one of the Grand Prix Hydroplane, super charged 1500 horsepower blown V8 engines!
We would have stayed for the finals tomorrow had we not had a prior arrangement for tomorrow lunch time.

The weather has been so hot in the McKenzie area all the time we have been there, we were quite horrified to see the grey clouds lurking around burkes pass and once again seeing the temperature Gaige drop! In fact it was just about drizzling by the time we got home!
