Moss

Another emergency blip as I was at the hospital again today. This is a macro shot of one of those little "cushions" of moss you sometimes see on old stone walls and roofs. We have some growing between paving slabs on the patio. It is Grimmia pulvinata and it is about 1½ cm across. Its leaves have long silvery hair tips.
