Rose bay willow herb

Took a half day flexi this afternoon. Popped over to Ocean Terminal to get my brows threaded...........bloody ouch!!!!!!

Was intending getting on with loads of paperwork whilst watching the curling final in the afternoon but ended dozing off on the sofa again (what am I like these days!). Didn't miss much though as GB were thrashed. Never mind, they must still be delighted with a silver medal.
A freezing blowy walk with Bailey saw me skulking and crouching in the weeds trying to get a good picture for a blip. The stupid iPhone camera kept focusing on the background and making the subject in the foreground really blurred. I was getting more and more frustrated and my fingers were just about dropping off with the cold. Eventually it obliged and I got one. Not my best offering but the best of the bunch.

This evening we went out to the SCDA (Scottish Community Drama Association) one act play festival. It was night 2 of 3 (we missed last night because of our drama meeting) and there were 3 plays to see. Think I nodded off during the first one. The second one was sad as was about an old man who'd had a stroke an his doting wife. Needless to say he died at the end. Quite a few folk were wiping tears away when the lights went on.
Number 3 thankfully was a comedy and lightened the feel of the evening completely. We ducked out of the public adjudicating after the drawing of the raffle where I actually won - £20 off a meal at a bistro at a local golf course. I never win anything, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket for Saturdays draw!!!
