Weather front

Looking east-south-east this morning. This was taken after quite a wet start; although the view may look idyllic, it is freezing cold and very blustery. I think a front is aproaching bringing a grey afternoon.

I am currently cooking spicy winter vegetables whilst CMC is away at her keyboard lesson in Krikwall.

We have visitors arriving today to stay for a few days - therefore with perfect timing we are having trouble with the boiler pressure. I tracked down and tightened one weeping radiator. Not sure if it's resolved the problem. I don't think our visitors will relish cold showers in the morning.

The Creel Entertainment Committee returned disappointing results on first hearing of 'Kin' the new album by the Pat Metheny Group.

However, or whatever, we are going to dance our blues away tonight at Stenness and then into Kirkwall for more dancing. Wild rumours abound that we will be revising the 'Bonnie Bells of Heather' tonight. Set dance for six couples.
