Shake-Out

Not sure about the species of this duck. Someone once told me the light brown ones on Charnwood Water were Pocklington Ducks, but it seems to be only me who has described them as such.

Lot of pairing up activity on Charnwood Water this morning. Pairs of coots, Canada Geese, mallard ducks, moorhens and so forth. Multiplicity of young swans preening their wings and hissing at dogs. Some of them may have to leave.
