Waiting…..

for something to happen! Probably for his/her mate to return as there is usually a pair in this tree. My little camera struggled with maximum magnification as I did trying to keep it still!! My other excuse is that it is somewhat a "grey" day….!
The tree was planted in 1948 by the chap who built the bungalow. Apparently he brought the seed/seedling back from Germany after the war. It is very much a landmark tree in the hamlet.
