Ascending

Son #1 celebrated his birthday again at the climbing centre. Bonkers 9 year old boys suddenly became compliant rock monkeys under the supervision of a friendly but firm instructor. After this we will go home whereupon they will devour pizza like vultures around a carcass.

They are impressive though and are really supporting each other. It has reawakened the climbing bug within me and when I find the time will come back.

Phil, Geoff, Alex - can you be tempted? This could be the remedy our ageing bodies need!

School work to consider tomorrow. But not today! The very thought has already floated off like a little fluffy cloud..

In other exciting news, my cough has been put down to a chest infection (both lungs) for which the marvellous and funny nurse prescribed some antibiotics. That explains why running has been heavy weather recently.
