Trough Road

Had a lovely day in Lancaster with friends. Very nice lunch the highlight sticky toffee pudding and custard , the fish and chips was great too. We had a superb tour of Lancaster Castle learnt so much interesting stuff that unfortunately will be forgotten tomorrow. Got locked in a cell not very nice and saw the recent cells that were used up until 2011, Travelodge at Barrow was luxury compared to them!!
Had lovely company driving there and we came back through the Trough of Bowland, had to slow down for pheasants, sheep, ducks and other birds that kept crossing the road or flying close. Stopped to take this photo, it was very quiet on the road. Only passed about 3 other cars. A really lovely day thanks to all who made it so nice.
