WI jumble sale

I'm totally knackered. It seems such a simple way to raise funds. You might think gathering the jumble is a problem - not really. Getting the public to attend? - doddle. Counting the proceeds? - bliss! No the worst nightmares are disposing of the unwanted/unsold items and assembling and clearing the heavy tables. We are short of able bodied men in the village and we girls are getting older and creakier. Still it looks like a much needed £200 into the coffers so I shall take to my bed VERY early and hope for an ache free day tomorrow! Oh goody goody, it will be Sunday, that means dippy dippy for brekkers whilst pouring over the Sunday Times.
