A leaf from last year

Cleaning the pond by hand. Putting the stones back in place. I saw this leaf floating under water. I didn't know if I could keep it intact if I get it out of the water but taking a picture was not possible. The view was beautiful blue reflection of the sky on the water and this leaf floating in the water. I let the leaf dry and put it on a black paper.
To see the skeletton of this leaf is a silent beauty to me.
