Snare drum building course...

Day 1 of my snare drum building course today (my Christmas present from MrsMozo). Very relaxed, informative and great fun. A choice of woods, bearing edges, finishes and hardware then instruction on how to build it. I chose an all mahogany shell with tube lugs and 45deg slightly rounded bearing edge and a Dunnet strainer. Shell sanded, bearing edges and snare beds completed, pilot holes drilled and first oil today then completion tomorrow.

I hope it sounds okay after all this...
