Closed Castle

I'm on call again this weekend as a favour for a colleague. I was required to visit Lanark - Ancient Royal Burgh.

There is no direct route to Lanark. It's miles of winding roads through green countryside. It's beautiful, and I would like to visit as a tourist one day.

After I had finished my work, I took a small detour on the way home, having spotted a sign for Craignethan Castle, and thought that it could be my Blip for today. Unfortunately when I got there, it was closed. The gates were locked up and it was 1K walk away in the rain. So I didn't go to the castle. I took a photo of the sign instead. Rubbish I know.

Bo managed a walk around the block this afternoon. Wobbly, fell over twice, but he was clearly delighted to be out and about. Happy days :))
