Not Alvin the Chipmunk

Look who's out of hibernation, it's the chipmunk. I noticed it around the bird feeders back in the late fall and haven't seen it since. It's busy stuffing its little cheeks today. These little critters are quick and speedy, I had to quietly stand by a window and very carefully get the photo. Blizzard cat and the chipmunks are not friends at all......

We are enjoying sunshine and a lot of wind today. I did notice the daffodils coming up and crocuses blooming. Maybe spring is starting to spring a little :)

Might as well do my chipmunk facts. They are members of the squirrel family. Of the 25 species of chipmunks all but one are found in North America.
