lull

Bugger all energy today. Didn't do much. Popped out to see The Flying Scotsman which was marred only by shitey sound for the first half-hour, the niggling thought that it surely can't be coincidence that both assistant Hobbits are going bald, the annoying moments of red-light-skipping and pavement-riding and the bright flashing neon fact that Jonny Lee Miller is horrendously uncomfortable on a bicycle and was wobbling all over the damn place in every bicycle-riding scene. Maybe he was the biggest-hitting actor prepared to accept the role and was cast in favour of someone less famous but confident on two wheels. Didn't do much in the afternoon. Dropped off trousers at work and popped to the shop. Went for a run. Put a glass of water in the fridge for twenty minutes so that it tasted really nice. Went to sleep.
