Northern Dispensary
One of those days when NYC is drunk on sunshine.
This is a kind of funny shot of a beautiful 3-sided building in the West Village which stands in a triangle plot on Waverly Place. It was completed in 1831 and its deed says it must serve the “worthy poor”: Edgar Allan Poe was treated here for a minor ailment. It now stands empty (despite plenty of worthy poor).
