Beach and Boat 1

I am a bit behind but the next three days I am at New Zealand's biggest fishing competition event called Beach and Boat. Today has been so busy with us packing up the boat with all our gear and driving north to Ruakaka just south of Whangarei.

We are a Premier Sponsor or rather benefactor from the event and have a display stand inside the main marquee. This is in my role as Corporate Relations and Funding Director for LegaSea. With 2500 fishermen there it is an ideal opportunity to talk to them, build our database and sell some of our merchandise.

Setting up the stand and finding our way around the facility has taken all afternoon and then we go into the evening for the briefing before the event starts at 5 am tomorrow morning.

Here is a very ordinary shot looking sideways cross our stand with the smoked Kingfish head and smoked Kahawai we have bought with us and available for people to taste while talking to us.

It also serves as part of our dinner. The marquee is about to fill up and we have some very long and busy days ahead of us.
