Storm's a-coming....

...and a few minutes later, it was with us. Thunder, lightning, rain, hail and two scared dogs. I timed my walk from up on the road back down to the house perfectly, although as I was shutting the gate claps of thunder all around the top of the valley did make me somewhat nervous.

The worse seems to have passed us now though; as I write this golden sunlight is raking across the trees down by the river. Well as they say, if you don't like the weather, wait half an hour....
