Thanks a million for all the good wishes yesterday, it was a difficult day and the comments really helped distract and entertain me.

It wasn't good news for the Father-in-Law with confirmation of the Big C and fears that it has spread already. So further scans next week on various body parts.

The combination of the five hundred blips, the ill kids and the news from the hospital led to a few beverages too many last night so I've been skulking around the house most of the day in my PJs and resorted to sticking the kids in front of the telly. With a brief respite to let them have a game of Zombie Cricket. What a terrible Father!
