Weekend Away

Half term at school, snow falling, and loads of people I know were away skiing, snowboarding, or away with families, kids for half term.

I too was free for Saturday through to Monday and decorating and clearing was what I ended up doing.

Actually, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Immensely satisfying seeing how much progress can be made in two hard days.

There was also some good food, a bit of wine and a couple of movies late in the evening. There were fraught moments too, but mostly the sense of achievement won out handsomely.
