Urban sprawl

Peterborough is full of dual carriageways, bridges and roundabouts that attempt to constrain and direct the city, so I love it when things buck the trend, like this wonderfully untidy tree. It tells the story of prevailing winds and passing traffic and defies attempts at order in its gloriously leafless state.
