Vinyl is back!!
Actually, it's never been away. While you've been busy downloading your faves, or picking up cheap cds, music has continued to be issued on the vinyl album - Neil Young, Kasabian, they've all been produced on the 33 rpm LP format. Probably even Beyoncé!
The blipped record is a recent release of a Fleetwood Mac live at the Boston Tea Party gig recorded in 1970. I bought it on vinyl because it was a four record album for £20, and I liked the sleeve design. Whether it sounds any better than the cd equivalent, is a moot point. It is, however, a lovely thing to have, compared to a cd, though if downloading is your bag, that's cool too. It's all music, after all.
