mending the fishing net...

Today I took my new lodger who is a PhD student from Ireland, to the lake. We arrived and it was bucketing down with rain so we didn't see the lake for some time! After lunch though it cleared up and we went for a walk - there were some people out fishing and this guy sitting on the sand mending the fishing net!

Network is still extremely slow - not sure why but always hoping that it will be better tomorrow!!
