50/365: Long-awaited results

I forgot about this on Friday due to the excitement of Beyonce, but I've been going through my lab book tonight, putting my notes into order and writing up everything I've been doing this week.

And on Friday I got the first confirmation that the experiments that I've been doing for the past six weeks have been working, which is great. Here's the gel that I ran that showed my PCRs have been working, which was a pretty good moment for both me and my supervisor. Also a great confidence boost just before beginning my eight weeks full-time lab work!
