The Great Escape...

Our girls used to have the run of the whole garden, but trying to grow veg and hens did not work so well together! So they now have a great hen area - all fenced in.

Admittedly at this time of year it's not looking it's best! Just a bit wet, muddy & bare!

I often wonder what they're thinking - watching Chicken Run gives rise to all sorts of possibilities... I wonder if they're looking forward to a drier spell and spring too?
