'Mini Irises'...........!

Aren't these a beautiful splash of colour in anotherwise dismal, dull and wet late Winter/early Spring??
For a couple of weeks there was only the one in bloom and then one morning I looked out and they were all suddenly in full colour.....
I thought they looked very pretty with the raindrops on them.......!!
I was lucky enough to get a few pots of bulbs planted up before I got sick in October....
I'm glad I did as my garden is looking a very sorry sight as a result of the extreme weather.......so these will add a little splash of colour and were we to get a little sunshine on them ..........then that would be good.......!
I lost my Victorian Archway to the wind and then my line broke this week...
But that's small damage compared to others........my heart goes out to those whose houses are flooded and buildings damaged...
also, so many farmers in trouble....!
Hopefully things will improve from here on...
At least the evenings are getting brighter....!
