Super climber pose

Another soggy day today so we all went to Ratho for soft play and climbing for the kids. Or rather, our daughter did the climbing while her little brother sulked with his Mum because he couldn't join in. He so wants to do everything his big sister does, which means we have to cave-in and give him at least a climbing taster session after his birthday. I don't doubt he'll be a good climber, it's with the understanding of instructions like "left", "right", "up" and "down" that he may struggle!

Our daughter climbed really well today. It could be her new harness which weighs nothing compared to my circa-2000 relic of a harness. The chap at Tiso confirmed harness technology has moved on quite a lot since when I first took it up. Anyway, this is her looking very pleased with her accomplishments today. She also got to watch her dad plucking up the courage to throw himself off the 'Auto Belay Device Route of Doom'. So I too had fun.
