Currie Kirk
Today's walk bore an uncanny resemblance to last week's. It's a good walk to do when it's windy, which it was last Sunday. This week it was blowing such a gale that we almost hesitated to go anywhere at all, yet once we were down by the Water of Leith all was miraculously calm.
You can see Currie Kirk from the walkway and and it's one of my favourite churches. It was built by James Thompson of Leith in 1784 .
We took a different route on the walk some of the time, so it wasn't all déjà vue. It was considerably wetter than last week so we stopped off at the garden where I work to get some shelter for lunch.
