The White Chairs

I know these have been put up here often, especially this week, as they are very significant to our city now.

I am often passing them , as one of our main suppliers for our business is just near by and I go there a few times a week. Today I stopped and spent some time at the chairs....it really is the saddest place I feel as it really shows the reality of what was lost in our earthquake, the human lives. There are alot of other sites around the city where events happened during the EQ's , but I think this place ,with the number of chairs representing the number of lives lost just tugs at your heart.

The tiny little childs chair made me cry today.
