Whatever the weather

What a weird day.

In the morning it poured then the sun shone and it warmed up. This rainbow came out in all its glory.

We decided that with the warmer sunnier weather we'd go for a walk to at least get the boys out of the house.

Mar rode his bike Kanye went in his chair and I carried Harper. We went to grandma and pops house.

When we got there Mar said he wanted to go find some cicadas.

We all walked to Hagley but stopped on the way for some lunch thanks to grandma and pop.

We didn't find any cicadas just husks of them. Did you know they can live to 17 years old? Bet you didn't.

We looked at some lanterns then carried on to the park. The boys played in the playground. Then big black storm clouds arrived just as aunty did so she took the boys home and i walked with Harper and Richard and Marisa back to my house through the big drops of rain. By the time we got to mine the sun was out again.

I went to the shop later on to get a few apples for lunches and when i came out thunder rolled around above my head and lightning flashed and it poured again! !.
