Tyneham Village, Tyneham Gwyle and Worbarrow Tout

Tyneham valley seen from Whiteway Hill .

The remains of the village are seen at bottom left. The church and adjacent school house are roofed, and house museums. To their left is Post Office Row, its advanced state of decay now stabilised. Vestiges of other buildings can be found nearby and on the coast.

The walk down to Worbarrow Bay is about a mile long. The path is on the far side of Tyneham Gwyle, distinguishable as a line of woodland.

Warbarrow Tout is the steep hill at the eastern end of the bay. To its left climbs the tricky, slippery stretch of coastal path along Gad Cliff.

My recent blip provides a view of part of the bay, and the changes recently caused by rain and sea.
