Robert

Something different again today for mono Monday.

This is Robert who manages the local butchers shop and contrary to how he looks here, he is a very friendly chap - he has always got time for a chat either in his shop, the pub or elsewhere in the village. He was very happy for me to take his photo.

There are some obvious things wrong with this - the lighting was poor and that meant I lost some definition and I would prefer the background to be much more out of focus. There was another customer waiting which put me under pressure and I felt I had pushed him as much as I could so I wasn't able to retake. So some lessons learned for another day!

And when I joined blip I thought most of my photographs would be of Dartmoor....but it feels good to try new things.
