A drain engineer's bag of tricks

A blocked drain is nothing new in these rain sodden weeks.

The engineers, having flushed out the drain, sent up a sturdy camera, featured here on the left.

The images are then recorded on the computer console, onto an SD card.

The image on the screen shows damage to a 100+ year old drain (probably).

This will have to be fixed by inserting a sleeve of some sort rather than excavating the entire drain.
