Climate Change or The Tiger Forest
In the end it didn't take much, we simply got in a van, drove for two days, rented an apartment and we have managed to leave everything and everyone we knew far behind.
I have moved house 27 times, and lived and worked in 11 different countries and visited 26. Eryn has lived in England, Texas, Maryland, Marin County, Tanzania, Cape Town, L.A. (Pacific Palisades, Topanga) and now the Pacific North West. Whew - time to settle down, and the houses are more reasonable priced up here.
But we still know how to connect with our friends, and there are holidays, and the people up here are friendly and the dusty trails and sunshine of SoCal have given way to mountains of snow.
So this is us trudging with inappropriate snow gear behind the rest stop on Mount Hood. It's great, fresh snow had us sinking in to our waist sometimes, and lower down, where the temps were above 32, we had forests and rivers.
All new to Eryn as SoCal doesn't really do rivers or Snow where we lived.
