Greenhouse

Took a stroll up to the Botanics at lunchtime; have been a bit sedentary lately I'm afraid, just sitting in the canteen and reading instead of getting out and about. Anyway, I thought that a lot of the shrubs might be blooming but it was really just the red rhododendrons for some reason, some of them were already past their best. Probably battered into submission by the wind and rain we've had the last couple of days. I used to wander through the greenhouses quite often, especially this one with all the ferns. I'd usually manage to sneak in a side or back door but then they tightened things up and that's pretty tough to do now. Progress huh!
