Tropical Plant

Another beautiful day here--very cold, but the sun is shining! We went to Mitchell Park Domes today, and 1 of the 3 domes were closed for repairs. Fortunately, it was the desert dome that wasn't open--my least favorite of the three--plus, we found out that admission is free before noon on Mondays, so even better!
I DID look at the name of this plant when I took the picture, however I looked at so many plant names that I don't remember what this one was called! Maybe someone here on blip will know. I thought it was very pretty though, & very unusual, so this was my choice for the day. :)
