Dementia

Since last October I have specifically worked with people who happen to have a diagnosis of dementia. It is indeed a very cruel and progressive illness. I meet people , and sometime I do feel sad, however what I have gained from working with ladies and gentleman on the whole is amazement. It is indeed an honour to nurse them and arrange packages of care. I worry about their vulnerbility but also humbled by carers , friends and neighbours who continue to provide the love and support practically and emotionally.

Thus today I was well chuffed to receive my Living Well with Dementia book I have been waiting for.
