A little light scribble...

Without any real idea of what to photo this evening I went out with the dogs, my camera and a tripod.

This is a slow-shutter shot of streetlight shimmering on the Stour, the river which runs through Canterbury. I find it interesting that the texture of the water surface varies so much, but of course it does. Ripples, eddies, currents, waves; of course these are real geometric tangible shapes, so of course they will and do bend, twist, reflect, buckle, light in different ways. I am such a dullard sometimes!

Think of this as a doodle, or a sketch. With thought and iteration one day it might spawn an interesting photograph.
