Tea

Today's blip is all about the most important thing in the house. The teapot. When I've had a stressful day of trying to avoid smashing my boss's skull with a sledgehammer (figuratively speaking.....or not....), then tea is better than wine. Certainly for my long term health.....

Most of the tea in the house is loose leaf. There are green teas, white teas, oolong teas and black teas. Even a lovely pack of Dian Hong red tea which quite frankly tastes like you've been hugged from crown to toe. There's a whole cupboard devoted to teas. The current favourite is Grand Yunnan, which is one of the key parts of another favourite, Russian Caravan. There's a Ceylon tea, a first and second flush Darjeeling, about four types of Earl Grey, mint tea and tranquil tea. That last is with me now..

I even have a special tea flask, I make tea, then put it in the insulated pot and it keeps it hot most of the day, or at least long enough to drink it. Tea obsessed? Maybe, but I'm British, and we DO like a cup of tea.
