The Cardinal is Taking Over!

When I passed by the dining room window this morning, I noticed a blue jay sitting on the branches. I got the camera and when I got closer, it flew to another branch. Deeper into the branches, I noticed the cardinal hiding so I could not see much of him to photograph. I kept trying to capture pics of both birds, but ended up with these two of the cardinal that were just so blippable.

Today got progressively colder and windier as the day went on, but we did get out to do some shopping. The sky was lovely and full of big white clouds.

My daughter's car is in the shop (hoping it is minor as we just put 900.00 into it) and she will be using my car for the rest of the week. That means she will come back on Saturday and we can go visit my grandkids. Two have birthdays coming up on the 27th. Grandson #2 is turning 18 and my granddaughter will be 11. When my grandson found out eleven years ago that he may have to share his birthday with his sister, he was very upset about it. I remember my son telling him that if she was born on his birthday, that he would give him 100 dollars. Somewhere is a photo of Justin holding up a bunch of money! Sharing can pay off!
