The Return

A big night tonight - I returned to my martial arts training after a long (several year long) health-enforced sabbatical. I trained the Korean martial art Tae Kwon Do 2003-2011 and got to the belt below black - black stripe - as pictured here. I always wanted to return to my training, despite knowing it'd be hard and painful. Tonight was interesting; I am definitely very, VERY rusty but it was good to go back. Looking forward to getting back into it all - health permitting. I took my boyfriend along tonight too, so he could try it. Good times all round.
