Bossa Nova at the Front of Copacabana

Bb flew to SP early this morning on business and will stay overnight, back tomorrow. We had one of our doormen in this morning changing a little part on all 44 plug points in the studio - these were the parts we've been searching for and eventually got on Sunday. Job well done! We can now get plugs in easily without having to use force! He couldn't believe how many sockets we have in such a small space! I wandered down to the front early evening and had a coconut water in this beach bar, where the musician was singing Bossa Nova music. Very pleasant. Then a bite to eat on the way back up the road and got chatting to a British couple who have just arrived for carnival. I shared a few local tips on a napkin and home to bed.

For the record: the last two old-fashioned beach bars/kiosks on the main stretch of Copacabana closed today. By the end of the week the rather smart ones just along the road will take over. We'll try to blip the cheery red and yellow kiosks before they physically disappear.
